(FYI that was not real blood! I did some colour mixing duh!) 

One way to tell whether blood is absorbed to the centre core is to observe the colour of the blood on the pad surface. The brighter or fresher the colour, the nearer the blood is to the surface, indicating higher chances of backflow and dampness. Conversely if the colour appears a duller red, it indicates that blood has been effectively absorbed so that you feel dry, confident and able to do all the activities you want without having to worry about your period!

My Verdict: Sanitary pads are either cotton type or plastic netted. Each lady's skin is different, with some preferring a soft touch whilst others may prefer a netted top layer. I'd prefer a soft & cottony type of pad(Sofy) but for the absorbency wise, I'd go for the KOTEX LUXE® Ultrathin pad as it doesn't cause any leakage for me when i toss or turn in bed.

I do not actually like hair oil because it's too intensive for my hair and I absolutely hate it if my hair looks greasy. But, i was very impressed with Essential CC Oil, although it is an oil-based product, it doesn't leave my hair looking greasy or neither my hands have the greasy residue after applying it. The hair oil is light-weight, it absorbs fast, keeps your hair smooth and tangle-free!
